I actually already have one of these. I ordered another one for a different bedroom. So used to looking at the ceiling to see what the time/temp is in the dark, that when we go on vacation, I miss having the convenience of it - you should make a small travel size.
Actual clock not to easy for bifocaled person to read from across the room. Have had for 6 months, no need to replace the battery. I bought it for the ceiling display and that job it does rather well. Outside temperature reads a little high, I would guess 5-8 degrees warmer than actual temperature (thus 4 stars instead of 5). You have to actually read the manual, operation is not all that intuitive (or at least not to me).I see very, very poorly without glasses and I can read this at night rather easily without difficulty. Also resets itself when the power blinks which is convenient as well since we have a lot of that in Florida during the thunderstorm season. I would buy again
After owning a time-only projection clock for a number of years, I decided to upgrade to one that could display the outdoor temperature. This unit also self-corrects for DST. I must say, having the outdoor temp included in the projected info is nice. Some other nice features of this clock are: variable angle for projection, being able to rotate the projection, and variable focus. I've never used the alarm or weather forecasting (so I can't comment on them#. I've enjoyed this clock so much that I've bought two more #as gifts for others).
Even though the display showed I had an "adequate" reception signal the outside temperature displayed was always off by an average of at least 20°. (yes I had the correct time zone) The time and date were always correct and the projection onto most surfaces was very good.
I bought this clock as a gift for my husband. He absolutely loves it.says that it is the best gift that I have ever given him.The projection is very nice and clear.Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it is not very easy to turn the alarm off in the morning.have to use both hands and have to look for the button.
